Training Specialist

Quick Start is looking for someone with a background in Industrial, Manufacturing or Distribution operations to provide training services for Quick Start projects. The incumbent will learn and support all areas of departmental operations under broad supervision of the Director.

Duties will include assistance with training operations, performing training needs assessments, training material development and instruction. The Training Specialist will work with the Director and other staff members to evaluate and standardize business processes and tools in order to ensure quality of instructional service delivery.
Other duties include assisting the Director with special projects, preparing operations reports, and conducting training research. Extensive travel within northern Georgia and occasional travel outside of Georgia and the US may be necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related field *and* Three (3) years of related work experience
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Experience with instructional design methodology, conducting training analysis and task analysis, presenting technical training classes and working with training information management systems.
