Patient Service Associate

The Patient Service Associate / Home Care Schedule Coordinator interviews, hires and orients new field staff, fills orders, assigns field staff personnel and records and updates compliance requirements for field staff. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinates applicants’ hiring process to ensure full compliance with state, federal and contract regulations
  • Maintains and insures compliance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Schedules all personnel to comply with mandates
  • Assists with insurance verification accuracy
  • Responsible for MD license verification

Qualifications:

  • 2 year college degree, 4 year preferred
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and handle detailed work
  • Have excellent interpersonal, interview and telephone courtesy skills and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess the ability to work independently and set priorities
  • Knowledge of people management techniques and decision making skills
  • Previous home care experience
  • A valid NYS driver's license is required
